A large country garden in the Chilterns to a regency house undergoing major alterations. The steeply sloping garden was overgrown and neglected and in need of improvement to reflect the architecture. This was achieved by providing a new elevated terrace; opening up the extensive views and introducing a journey through the garden.
Japanese elements were incorporated linking the upper and lower level ponds with a cascade and providing improved planting. Solid oak bench seats were designed and placed in areas where the views and tranquillity could be enjoyed.
